Why 'Midnight Flamingo'?
Writers create blogs on the Internet for a vast number of reasons, from political commentary to hobby showcases, to photography galleries, to, well, anything one can imagine. Because of this, you, the reader, may be wondering where in the blog realm this ‘Midnight Flamingo‘ resides, and what might be the writers’ purpose. So, let’s get that out of the way first.
In our case, ‘Midnight Flamingo‘ refers to a option package for an Airstream Flying Cloud travel trailer, and, perhaps, a persona, if an inanimate object can have a persona. Boats can have personas; automobiles can have personas; it stands to reason that RVs can also have personas. The ‘Midnight Flamingo‘ is a blacked out version of the very popular Flying Cloud line of Airstream travel trailers. Black wheels, black trim, black interior hardware, black curtains, and more. Kind of tough looking. Badass really.

Before you groan and exclaim, “Not another ____________ blog” (insert product review, operation review, sales pitch, demonstration, reasons to buy, reasons not to buy, or other tedious topic in the blank), you can relax, knowing the Midnight Flamingo blog is not one of those. However, if you inserted “travel” into the space, and find that topic tedious and overworked, well the Midnight Flamingo blog is not really a travel blog either.
While this blog will have travel elements, it will not be about places alone; rather, this blog will be about the experiences that the authors have while traveling. Sometimes, yes, a blog post may showcase a particular destination now and then, the hope is that the writing captures feelings, ideas, and emotions of those events and places, and tghus capture the readers’ fancy.
‘Midnight Flamingo’ refers to the authors’ new Airstream travel trailer, the backdrop that will connect each blog post in one manner or another, the glue, so to speak. The Airstream, named ‘Midnight Max‘, also carries the Big Red Number 25653, but more on that later, so be patient. Follow the authors and Max as they go off on journeys, have adventures, and interesting experiences throughout the United States and Canada. Our hope is that readers can share these travels with us, rather than just being “along for the ride”. Welcome!
